eHealth Code of Ethics



On Wednesday, May 24, 2000 the eHealth Ethics Initiative introduced an International Code of Ethics for health care sites and services on the Internet. The event took place at the Dirksen Senate Building in Washington, DC.

Senator James M. Jeffords (R-Vermont), chair of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions and Senator Joseph Lieberman (D-CT) ranking minority member of the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee were on hand for the launch.
